practice bathroom

June 3, 2010

We have 3, yes 3! bathrooms in this big wierd house. Two of them currently “function” although only one of them is even mildly presentable, and the third is totally not working. When we bought the house it was evident that the previous owners were planning on making it operable, seeing as how it was stuffed with home depot shower kits and the like, but I’m thinking we might not use those materials and approach it more as a practice space for when we redo the other baths. Plus, it’s in the basement so if it ends up wacky or generally crappy, who cares its in the basement!

so here are some of my dream sinks, most of which we could not afford to use in said practice bathroom, but its fun to dream…

this is the sink responsible for my corner sink obsession via Anna @ DoorSixteen, isn’t it incredible?

alright I’m starting with the dreamiest of the dream sinks, the second one I’ve actually had the honor of washing my hands in, and believe you me, I was giggling and possibly hopping the whole time

(antique sink, American Standard enamel sink)

(antique corner sink, Elkay stainless utility sink)

and now for the affordable options

( Whittington Minimalist sink, Whittington Alto sink)

and while these are not nearly as statementy as the other 4 I still love them and they are substantially more practical option for a teeny tiny basement bathroom.
